RFID Credentials for Property Access
Plan every access point before choosing the format.
We map rooms, amenities, staff zones and guest movement, then specify the product formats supported by the installed access system.

Mapping the property
Count the doors before you count the cards.
Access products are specified outward from the zone map, not inward from a product range.
- 01
Access-zone map
Write down every controlled point first — guest rooms, lifts, pool gates, back of house, stores — because the map, not the catalogue, decides how many formats are needed.
- 02
Guest and staff separation
Guest and staff credentials usually differ in durability, format and how often they are replaced, and separating them early avoids one compromise product serving neither well.
- 03
Credential compatibility
Each reader accepts a specific credential. At a property on this coast that has grown in phases, two generations of hardware coexisting is normal, and that is recorded before anything is produced.
- 04
Issue, replacement and cancellation
Agree who issues, who cancels and how a lost credential is handled, and keep that process in the same document as the technical specification.
Production specification
What is fixed on every access credential.
The zone map decides how many formats are needed. These production points do not change.
| Formats | CR80 card at 85.6 × 54 mm, and wristband |
|---|---|
| Card body thickness | 0.76 mm |
| Standard operating frequency | 13.56 MHz (ISO/IEC 14443) |
| Low-frequency option | 125 kHz, where the installed system requires it |
| Populations | Guest credential and staff credential, specified separately |
| Minimum order | 500 pieces per artwork |
| Production time | 14–21 days after artwork approval |
Compatibility
Confirm first. Customise second.
Credential technology, encoding and supported functions depend on the installed system.

Before you order.
01Should staff credentials differ from guest credentials?+
Almost always. They are used a thousand times more, last years and are replaced on a different rhythm, so one compromise format serves neither well.
02Where does the specification start?+
With the zone map: rooms, lifts, pool gates, back of house and stores. The map decides how many formats are needed, not the catalogue.
03Will one credential work across the whole property?+
Only if every reader accepts it. At a property that grew in phases, two generations coexisting is common.
