Questions before production

Clear answers before the product brief begins.

Technical fit and operational context come before artwork. Answers on compatibility, materials, minimum quantities and lead times in Punta Cana.

01Are RFID cards compatible with every hotel lock?+

No. The credential must be confirmed for the installed system before production. This coast runs properties opened twenty years ago alongside towers opened this year, and they do not read the same thing.

02Can the same design be used on cards and wristbands?+

Yes. A visual family can be coordinated across formats, while each product keeps its own production and technical specification.

03Can a wristband be used for room charge or cashless spend?+

Only when the property's systems are configured to support that function. The physical wristband alone does not create payment capability.

04Which wristband works best around water?+

That depends on wear period, construction, closure, cleaning and the expected pool or beach exposure. Silicone is the starting point for continuous wet wear.

05Do you offer wooden RFID wristbands?+

Yes. Wood-bead options use a polished bead construction with a slim integrated wooden RFID medallion, subject to final order specification.

06Do salt spray and sun cream damage the credential?+

They attack the printed surface, not the chip. That is why we specify matte lamination on the room card for this coast and keep heavy artwork off the area where a thumb rests.

07How long does an order take if I am heading into high season?+

Production is 14–21 days after artwork approval, with transit and local receiving on top. To cover December to April, artwork needs to be signed off well in advance.

08What do you need to prepare a quote?+

Property, zone, product type, quantity per artwork, target date and any lock-system or credential information already available.

09What is the minimum order?+

500 pieces per artwork. Per artwork, not per property: two artworks, three package-tier colours and two sizes is twelve separate counts.

10Can cards arrive already encoded?+

Yes. They are delivered factory-encoded and numbered to the property's scheme, or blank for encoding at the front desk.

11Do you send a sample before production?+

Yes, and it is worth taking. An encoded sample is read on your own lock before the run, because a credential that responds on a desk reader can still fail on a door with a different antenna.

12What if the property runs two generations of lock?+

That is normal at a property that grew in phases. It gets documented before production and, where needed, one credential is specified per generation rather than forcing a single one.

13Can I reorder the same design next year?+

Yes, if four things are kept: the print-ready artwork with its finish specification, the approved encoding sheet, the exact construction and the quantity-per-artwork history.

14Do you work with properties outside Punta Cana?+

We work the Dominican east coast: Bávaro, Cap Cana, Uvero Alto, Arena Gorda, Macao, Cabeza de Toro, Punta Cana Village and Miches. One destination, deliberately.
